Pick your market. We have a local playbook for it.

Marketing tactics that work in Burlington's 128/95 corridor don't work in Lexington's premium residential market. Boston's brutal SERP needs different infrastructure than Reading's bedroom-community home-services density. Pick your city below to see the local playbook, the competitive context, and the starting services.

02 — WHY GEOGRAPHIC PLAYBOOKS

Why a Boston playbook is different from a Lexington one.

Five dimensions where local market context substantively changes the marketing playbook — even when the same business is being marketed.

SERP density varies by market

Boston SERP has 50+ relevant local + national agencies fighting per category. Reading's HVAC SERP has 8–12 contractors. Different competitive density = different timeline-to-rank and different ranking maintenance investment.

CPCs swing 4–10× across markets

'Plumber Reading' = $1.80 CPC. 'Plumber Boston' = $4.20. 'Estate attorney Lexington' = $25+. 'HVAC Burlington' = $4. Same service, wildly different ad math by market — what works in one breaks in another.

Buyer-research patterns differ

Cambridge tech buyers research via LinkedIn first. Wakefield family-business buyers ask neighbors. Lexington premium buyers read reviews end-to-end. Boston buyers compare 8+ options. Different buyer behaviors = different infrastructure investments.

Service-area dynamics differ by geography

Woburn contractors serve 5–8 adjacent towns from one office. Cambridge B2B firms serve nationwide from a Kendall address. Burlington corridor retailers serve a 30-mile catchment. Same physical address ≠ same service-area strategy.

Proximity weighting is geographic

Google's local algorithm is proximity-aware. A Boston searcher near Newbury Street sees different map-pack results than one near Forest Hills — for identical queries. Marketing has to be tuned for the specific search radius around your address, not generic 'Boston'.

Sales-cycle length tracks with market type

Bedroom-community home services = same-day. Premium suburban legal = 60–180 days. Tech B2B Cambridge = 90–270 days. Family-business Wakefield = relationship-driven, hard to clock. Cycle length affects every infrastructure choice.

03 — FAQ

Common questions about our location-specific approach.

Do you only work in these 10 markets?

These are the tier-1 markets where we have published playbooks. We work selectively in adjacent towns (Belmont, Stoneham, Andover, Wilmington, Watertown, Somerville, etc.) — typically when the client's primary market is one of the tier-1s and the work extends naturally.

Why not more cities? What about Worcester, Lowell, Lynn?

Honest answer: we work mostly in Greater Boston / North Shore where we have the deepest market context. Worcester, Springfield, and Western MA have different SERP dynamics that we don't claim to know as well. We refer those out when appropriate.

Will I rank in cities where I don't have a physical address?

Sometimes — depends on your service area, the competitive density, and Google's proximity weighting. Most of our clients rank in 4–7 adjacent towns from one office. Ranking in cities you don't physically serve is harder and often not worth pursuing.

Do you have published case studies per location?

Per-client case studies are gated for privacy. Per-location market data and approach is published openly on each location page. We share specific client results in private audits when relevant.

How is location playbook different from service playbook?

Different lens. Service pages tell you what we deliver. Location pages tell you what's competitive in your specific market and how we adjust. Most clients read both — service page first, then their city's page to see the market context.

Can you handle multi-location businesses across these cities?

Yes — most of our multi-location clients span 2–5 of these tier-1 markets. Per-location GBP + per-location landing pages with genuinely unique content (not templated). Pricing scales per location with discounts at 3+ locations.
